Traeger di Pietro, Sergio Roffo, Carol Maguire
July 21, 2016 - August 3, 2016

Artists' Reception Thursday, July 21st from 5-7pm.  All three artists will be in attendance.

Traeger di Pietro lives and works on the island of Martha's Vineyard. His B.A. degree in Studio Art from the University of Maine taught him process but he enjoys breaking the process, too. He says, "I broke my crayons as a child and I still do." Hence, originality and surprise are what motivates his style. While his impressionistic work reflects the immediacy of an island scene, his contemporary pieces contain hidden messages to provoke intellectual thought or humor.

Sergio Roffo's New England coastal landscapes have been rewarded by the Copley Society of Boston as a "Copley Master" and as an elected "Fellows" member of the American Society of Marine Artists. He graduated with honors from the Vesper George School of Art in Boston. Currently residing in Scituate, MA he continues to paint every day and accepts commissions of any size anywhere in the world.

Carol Maguire paints full-time and is represented at galleries in Philadelphia, New Jersey, Maine, and Martha's Vineyard.  She teaches painting on the Cape and in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Inspired by a love for color, China, textiles, and gardening, her work forcuses on objects that surround her daily life — family treasures, gifts from friends, and garage sale finds are all in combination with nature's fruits and flowers. Carol holds a Bachelor's degree in Art History from Fairfield University and has furthered her studioes at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, the Sorbone, the Barnes Foundation, and Fleisher Memorial.
